Beckie serves as President & CEO where she has directed many successful initiatives and business development projects in the Lewiston Auburn Region after being employed as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine since 2006. She was co-owner with her husband of Austin’s Fine Wines and Foods for 20 years, and for 3 years owned and operated Rÿsen Home Garden & Antiques, a retail gallery promoting local art and products that supported international women’s economic development.
Saïd Eastman, CEO/GM – JobsInME.com
Saïd Eastman is a 20-year veteran of the human capital (HCM) space. He is currently the CEO/GM of JobsInTheUS in Portland, Maine which operates JobsInME.com, JobsInNH.com and JobsInVT.com, along with 49 other state and hyperlocal sites across the United States. He has held positions in management, sales, marketing, strategic alliances as well as emerging-markets expansion. His experience with brands like Monster, CareerBuilder, NuView Systems, Simplex, and GoAvrio is brought to bear at JobsInTheUS. Saïd’s entrepreneurial experience has included several startups in technology and one restaurant from concept to design and launch, which he sold in 2013 after five years of successful operation.
Steve Hewins – HospitalityMaine
Steve Hewins is the President and CEO of HospitalityMaine, an organization of about 1000 members created through the recent merger of the Maine Restaurant Association and the Maine Innkeepers Association. HospitalityMaine represents hotels, restaurants and suppliers on a wide variety of issues ranging from advocacy to workforce development, education, research and operations. Hewins has served in numerous non-profit and industry volunteer roles, and currently is a member of the Maine Economic Growth Council and on the boards of Visit Portland, the Maine Tourism Association and the University of Southern Maine Hospitality and Tourism Program.
Dan Belyea – Maine Community College System
Dan Belyea has worked for the Maine Community College System (MCCS) for over 30 years. In July of 2017, Dan Belyea was named Interim Director of Workforce Training for the MCCS and in March of 2018 he was appointed the Executive Director of Workforce Training. He is currently leading the Maine Quality Centers (MQC) workforce grant programs and is coordinating the statewide workforce training initiatives for the MCCS. Prior to that, he spent a year with the MCCS as the Director of Operational Support. He also work in a variety of administrative positions at Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor, Maine from 1988 to 2016.
Joan Dolan, Director of Apprenticeship and Strategic Partnerships – Maine Department of Labor
Joan graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and is currently the Director of Apprenticeship and Strategic Partnerships for the Maine Department of Labor. Together with her Strategic Partnership Team at MDOL and partner workforce agencies, she works diligently to develop innovative workforce programs to assist unemployed individuals gain the skills and confidence necessary to find a new job and to assist employers in upskilling their workforce. Joan currently oversees the implementation of federal grants and state funded programs including the Competitive Skills Scholarship Program and the Maine Apprenticeship Program.

Cory King, Executive Director – Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber
Cory has been involved in chamber work for 13 years, having been the Executive Director of the Skowhegan Area Chamber for nearly a decade prior to his current work. He was awarded the Chamber Professional of the Year in 2016 by the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, and is currently the President of the Maine Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. Credited with having an innovative style, Cory has created several community events and programs that have garnered both regional and statewide recognition, with more new programs being built for 2019.
Dr. Catherine Krouse, Founder – Lotus Family Practice
Dr. Catherine M. Krouse is a board certified family physician. She was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and then headed to Philadelphia for college and medical school. At Temple University she received her Bachelor’s degree in World Religion. She received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. At this point she needed a break from city life and was drawn to Maine for family medicine residency, graduating in June 2014. Her experience studying both the humanities as well as medical science helped to shape her perspective of medicine, which ultimately led her to open a unique family practice that emphasizes health and wellness.

Allie is the Founder and Program Director at OmBody Health. In addition to coaching thought-leaders, executives and professionals to maximize their impact, wellbeing and quality of life, she and her team empower organizations to develop work cultures that foster employee health, happiness and full potential living. In addition to being a published author, Certified Health Coach and Yoga/Meditation Teacher, Allie has her Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Corporate Wellness and is a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist through the Employer Health Care Congress. Throughout her career as a coach, yoga teacher, adult educator and program director for OmBody Health, Allie has worked with over 30 companies and 100s of individuals, including executives, human resource influencers, and working professionals to optimize their health and performance.
